St Monica's Primary is a Roman Catholic Primary School which has been serving the community since 1963.  We are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers to ensure all children achieve their potential.  The home, Church and the school form a partnership, at the centre of which is your child.

At St Monica's Primary School we aim to provide a safe, happy and caring environment.  All learners, parents, carers and staff play an important role in our school.  We believe in treating each other with decency, dignity and respect so that our pupils become more aware of their social responsibilities and their lifelong learning as responsible citizens, successful learners, confident individuals and effective contributors within society.

It is our intention that your child will receive the highest standard of education possible within a caring Catholic environment.  We are proud of our very strong Catholic ethos which supports the promotion of gospel values and the development of our community of faith and learning.  We promote a broad and balanced curriculum in which everyone is given the opportunity to achieve the highest possible standards.  This is delivered my competent and caring staff.  We have high but achievable expectations in terms of behaviour, attitude and attendance at school.
